The Business Product Management, Value Realization, and Adoption team on the Discover Product line is focused on increasing customer satisfaction, trust, awareness, and adoption with the Discover Product Line while realizing and quantifying the value this product line brings to The Enterprise. We do so in a variety of ways, one of which is to facilitate the connection and convenience of bringing our product to our customers and understanding their wants and needs. 2025 is The Year of the Consumer, and one of our priorities is to ensure we are capturing our consumer s needs in the most effortless way possible while obtaining the details our technical teams need to bring these ideals to life in our production space.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team in the Chief Data Office, supporting the Business Product Manager in driving Problem Discovery and Value Realization for our Discover Product Line. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and a solid understanding of product management and value realization frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Business Product Manager to identify and prioritize business problems and value realization opportunities within the Discover Product Line.
- Utilize value realization frameworks to assess and enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborates proactively with extended marketing team to understand and address key business decisions including strategy development, forecast assumptions, execution choices and performance measurement
- Develops and implements market research plan, timeline, and budget in a compliant manner in collaboration with marketing teams and other stakeholders as aligned to business strategic priorities
- Leverages relevant insights, including primary research, secondary data, syndicated reports and databases, and integrates these into a compelling story to guide business decisions
- Employ prioritization techniques to manage and align project deliverables with business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive consensus and gather insights using Design Thinking methodologies.
- Support the product development lifecycle (SDLC) by ensuring requirements are clearly defined and communicated to technical teams.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA for project tracking and management.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on industry trends and best practices in the pharmaceutical sector.
Call-outs and Opportunities :
- Product Design, Development, and Release : The Business Analyst will work alongside the BPM, TPMs, Value Realization Teams, Adoption Teams, Technical Leads, and additional delivery team members to support the orchestration of product design, requirement gathering, technical and functional ticket creation, while ensuring to adhere to the product vision and most importantly, establishing business value with each feature.
- Business Intelligence : The Business Analyst will work directly with their Manager and Team to understand the ins and outs of the Pharmaceutical Business Landscape across Enterprise.
- Technical Acumen : The Business Analyst will work alongside a team of knowledgeable software engineers, architects, and modeling experts with experience in analytics, UI/UX development, Python, Database management, use of AWS and other foundational platforms in an enterprise setting to support their ability to translate business requirements and pain points into technical tickets which will be developed into technical solutions.
- Stakeholder Management : The Business Analyst will be working directly with the business stake holders on prioritization of business requests, this will involve negotiation and learning how to calmly guide and navigate challenging discussions that may end in compromise. The TPM and other teammates will support and mentor the Business Analyst in this aspect to ensure a healthy learning environment while also delivering on operational excellence for the product.
- Networking Opportunities : The Business Analyst with work with a team of professionals and subject matter experts to help build their network and potential references for their future career, as well as engage with stakeholders across the world.
- Collaboration : Collaborate on solution design with the product, business, and technical team members.
Qualifications
- Education: Master s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with value realization frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong technical knowledge, particularly in technical product management.
- Experience with requirement gathering and documentation.
- Certifications:
- Design Thinking certification is a plus.
- Product Ownership and Product Management certification is a plus.
- Skills:
