Job Description

  • You have Banking Alliances experience
  • You bring relevant Fintech experience
  1. Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic alliances with banks and financial institutions.
  2. Through partnerships, improving payment infrastructure and also drive revenue through consistent pipeline building, partner engagement, and deal closures.
  3. Manage end-to-end relationship & sales for assigned banking clients across cross border payments, domestic payments, UPI, and PA-CB-Inward/Outward solutions.
  4. Explore new opportunities inside banks for the company's products adoption and cross selling, establishing banks & other PSPs as the company's distribution channels.
  5. Prepare business cases, partnership/ referral proposals, RFP responses, pricing models, and partnership decks.
  6. Establish structured referral programs and pipelines with bank relationship managers, product teams, and relevant stakeholders.
  7. Negotiate and finalize partnership arrangements including commercial terms, SLAs, and product offerings.
  8. Work closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Risk Operations to deliver committed outcomes. Maintain strong industry knowledge to spot regulatory, market, and competitive shifts to identify new opportunities
  9. Build deeper and multi-level relationships within the banking/ payment partners with key influencers within the business, product & technology teams.
  10. Serve as the point of contact for banking partners, ensuring clear communication and timely closure and resolutions

The Successful Applicant

  1. A strong understanding of the FinTech industry and banking sector dynamics.
  2. Proven expertise in developing and managing strategic partnerships.
  3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  4. Proficiency in analysing market trends and identifying business opportunities.
  5. A track record of successful project execution and stakeholder management.
  6. A relevant educational background in business, finance, or a related field.. Masters degree (MBA preferred) in Business, Finance, Strategy or a related field
  7. 4- 8 years of experience in banking, fintech, or strategic partnerships in payments domain/ merchant acquiring.
  8. Strong understanding of banking products, cross-border payment products, money movement, APIs, digital payments, regulatory landscape and business development in Banking & Fintech Industry.
  9. Excellent communication, negotiation & stakeholder management skills with ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. . Strong analytical, strategic & growth mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  10. Proven track record of building and scaling high-impact partnerships.
  11. Proactivity, autonomy, and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  12. Understanding of Foreign Exchange and liquidity providers, or experience managing cost and different pricing models in merchant acquiring, TSP, Referral partnerships.
