Job Description

Role Overview:

driving new business acquisition in the reinsurance segment

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Acquisition

Identify and target potential clients for reinsurance solutions (Life & Non-Life).
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new accounts and grow market share.

Relationship Building

Establish and maintain high-level relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and brokers.
Represent the organization at industry forums and networking events.

Sales & Negotiation

Lead negotiations for treaty and facultative placements.
Ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms for clients.

Market Intelligence

Track industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
Provide insights for product development and pricing strategies.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and internal compliance standards.
Maintain accurate records of proposals, agreements, and transactions.

Requirements:

Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA preferred), Insurance certifications (Licentiate/Associate from III).
8-12 years in reinsurance sales or broking, with proven track record in new business acquisition
