AM / Manager - Business Development (Construction Chemical) - West

Company: Leading Specialty Chemical company

Position Based out of Mumbai Head Office

Scope of the Region - West

Job Profile:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets for construction chemicals.
• Identify and appoint distributors and applicators as required to ensure smooth sales and operations and ensure market coverage.
• Identify key project opportunities and build strong relationships with developers.
• Securing product approvals in Developers & Government bodies such as BMC, MMRDA, CIDCO, etc.
• Continuously increase market intelligence and update customer & competitor data and apply the overall sales process, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Assistance in product promotion, product trials, etc.
• Provide technical support and solutions to clients for their construction projects.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients.
• Provide accurate sales forecast, supporting efficient planning of products and services.
• Responsible for timely collection of payment receivables through continuous followup.
  

Requirements:

• Civil Engineering graduate/diploma OR Management Graduate in Marketing.
• 3 to 5 Years in Construction Chemical Sale
• Proven experience in sale of construction chemicals through distributors, applicators & projects.
• Strong technical understanding of construction chemicals & solutions.
• Strong value selling skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel for business development activities in and around Mumbai Region (MMR)
