The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related technical field. You should have a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, particularly as a data scientist or Statistician, developing predictive analytics solutions for various business challenges. Your functional competencies should include advanced knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, data mining, and text mining. You must have a strong programming background and expertise in building models using languages such as SAS, Python, or R. Additionally, you should excel in storytelling and articulation, with the ability to translate analytical results into clear, concise, and persuasive insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in working with large datasets, both structured and unstructured, is crucial, along with the capability to comprehend business problems and devise optimal data strategies. Your responsibilities will encompass providing solutions for tasks like Customer Segmentation & Targeting, Propensity Modeling, Churn Modeling, Lifetime Value Estimation, Forecasting, Recommender Systems, Modeling Response to Incentives, Marketing Mix Optimization, and Price Optimization.
