Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and highly experienced Chartered Accountant to lead our Accounts & Finance function.

Detailed Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

Provide strategic insights to the leadership team for decision-making and growth initiatives.

Drive cost optimization and resource allocation strategies.

Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other applicable laws.

Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for timely filings and approvals.

Ensure timely preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Oversee direct and indirect taxation, including tax planning, computation, and filing.

Manage GST compliance, reconciliations, and coordination with authorities for assessments and audits.

Review MIS reports, variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

Maintain transparency and accuracy in all financial records.

Establish and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.

Ensure proper documentation and process adherence for all financial transactions.

Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure smooth operations.

Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and investment decisions.

Mentor and develop the accounts & finance team for higher efficiency and capability.

Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory:
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

Experience:
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Accounts & Finance, with proven experience in a senior leadership role.

Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, GST, and corporate laws.

Proven track record in managing audits, compliance, and financial strategy.
