Job Summary:

The Senior Manager Accounts & Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, audits, taxation, compliance, and reporting. This role ensures the companys financial health, statutory compliance, and supports management in strategic decision-making through accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting & Financial Management

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per applicable accounting standards.
  • Review and finalize balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage working capital, fund flow, and cash management activities.
  1. Budgeting & Financial Planning

  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Monitor budgetary variances and provide actionable insights for cost control.
  • Support management in strategic financial planning and investment decisions.
  1. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

  • Handle direct and indirect taxation including TDS, GST, Income Tax, and other statutory dues.
  • Ensure timely filing of returns, tax payments, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors during audits and ensure timely completion.
  1. Financial Controls & Process Improvement

  • Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Review and enhance accounting systems, policies, and procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Drive automation and digitalization in financial operations.
  1. Treasury & Banking Operations

  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Handle payments, fund transfers, and reconciliation of financial instruments.
  1. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments for financial planning and control.
  • Ensure effective delegation and timely completion of deliverables.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws.
  • Hands-on experience with Tally accounting systems.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Educational Qualification:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) / MBA in Finance/ Relevant Experience
