Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage and oversee the entire Accounts & Finance function for the Rice Industry.
Prepare Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, and other financial statements.
Supervise daily accounting operations including AP/AR, bank reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny.
Handle complete
Export Documentation
(LC, BL, Packing List, Invoice, Shipping Bill, GST Refunds).
Ensure statutory compliance GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, PF/ESI, etc.
Manage audits (Statutory, Internal & Tax Audit) and coordinate with external auditors.
Monitor costing, budgeting, and variance analysis for rice production & exports.
Ensure timely filing of returns, documentation, and compliance with government regulations.
Coordinate with banks for LC, CC Limits, Export Credit, and other financial facilities.
Lead and mentor the accounts team, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Prepare MIS reports for management and provide insights for decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:
CA / Semi-qualified CA / MBA Finance / M.Com
Experience:
12+ years
(with minimum 56 years in Rice / Agro / Food Processing / Export industry)
Strong knowledge of
Accounts Finalization, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Audit & Compliance
Hands-on experience in
Export Documentation (LC, BL, Shipping Bill, GST Refunds, Bank coordination)
Proficiency in
Tally / SAP / ERP
and
Advanced Excel
Ability to handle
team management, audits, costing, and MIS reporting
Excellent communication and coordination skills with banks, auditors, and management
Candidates from
Rice / Agro Commodities / FMCG (Food Processing)
background will be given preference
