About the Role

We are seeking a Mid/Senior Level Service Engineer to join our Pro Services team and support the implementation of modernization solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of Mainframe knowledge and modern Java/Cloud expertise, with the ability to lead technical deployments, troubleshoot complex issues, and work closely with clients during projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure modernization solutions in customer environments (on-premises and cloud).
• Lead COBOL-to-Java conversion, troubleshoot transformation issues, and implement performance improvements.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders during project delivery to ensure smooth execution.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance validation of solutions.
• Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support project deployments.
• Assist in production transitions, ensuring minimal downtime and successful go-live.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and reporting to meet project SLAs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–12 years of experience in Software services, modernization, or solution delivery.
• Mainframe development Experience (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, GDGs, batch processing) .
• Expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Batch, REST APIs).
• Hands-on experience with code conversion, debugging, and production deployment.
• Experience in mainframe modernization projects (implementation and delivery) highly desirable.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes (CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments such as AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹485,754.55 - ₹1,653,215.81 per year
