Job Title: Staff ML Engineer (Computer Vision)

About the Role

Machine Learning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Lead Computer Vision projects
– from design to production.
Define system requirements, data flows, model architectures, and deployment pipelines.
Research and apply the latest
CV techniques
(e.g., object detection, OCR, video/image processing).
Develop and test
proof-of-concepts
with proper benchmarks and experiments.
Optimize ML models for
cloud and edge deployment
(GPU/TPU).
Guide and mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and best practices.
Collaborate with product and customer teams to align technical work with business needs.
Set standards for
coding, documentation, and reproducibility
.
Monitor production models, identify issues like drift, and ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

6–8 years of experience building and deploying
Computer Vision systems
at scale.
Hands-on experience training and deploying models for tasks like object detection, image classification, OCR, etc.
Strong knowledge of
deep learning frameworks
(TensorFlow, PyTorch, YOLO, etc.) and deployment tools (TensorRT, Triton).
Experience in
model optimization
for performance and cost efficiency.
Prior experience
leading a team
of ML Engineers or Data Scientists.
Experience deploying models on
cloud platforms
(AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of optimizing models for
mobile/edge devices
is a plus.
