The Sr. Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing efficient and cost-effective transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. They ensure on time delivery of finished goods in accordance with company and customer expectations, while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
This position is part of the Global Supply Chain Management and will be located at Gurgaon site.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operation at 3PL including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and transportation . Track and monitor shipments to ensure on time delivery and resolve issues such as delays, damages, or customs problems

Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse teams to arrange pick-up, delivery, and storage of goods.Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and regulatory requirements

Manage logistics software systems (e.g., SAP, WMS, and ERP) for order tracking, inventory control, and shipping records. Resolve discrepancies and complaints related to shipping or inventory. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, procurement, and customer service to meet delivery deadlines. Knowledge of preparing invoice and uploading them on GeM portal.

Checking all vendor invoice as per rate agreement, upload them on portal and take necessary approval to process payment and follow-up with finance for processing the payments.Tracking of demo instruments, and preparing documents though SAP for the movements, follow-up with carrier for the delivery.

Share weekly inventory report with all the stakeholders (download reports from SAP and identify short shelf-life inventory and share).Follow-up with vendors and collect provision and share with finance team every month before closing. Familiar in handling internal and external audits.Experience in developing SOPs and process flows.
Trade Compliance:

Manage import/export operations in India related to, but not limited to, the Harmonized Schedule classification, valuation and country of origin determination of Cepheid s products

Analyze and interpret Indian Customs regulations and maintain current knowledge of changes

Maintain standards and processes for Cepheid in the APAC region and it relates to the inbound and outbound movement of goods and the oversight of customs brokers

Work closely with the Danaher Compliance team on regulatory updates and ongoing monitoring of compliance risk in the APAC region

Provide regulatory consultation and communication to stakeholders in various business functions

Experience with Global Trade Solution management systems and ERP systems

Knowledge of duty drawback and RODTEP process.

Good to have OSGT knowledge (Vendor and customer codes screening in OSGT, removing trade blocks)

Maintaining DSR reports
The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor s degree with 5+ years of experience OR Master s degree with 3+ years of experience
-
Overall, 7-10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination, and including 3+ years experience with overseeing import operations, including customs brokers in India

Strong knowledge of freight and logistics documentation, international shipping (if applicable), and warehousing.

Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, are a must.

Working understanding WMS, Agile, lifecycle management, production management and KANBAN systems.

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Familiarity with customs regulations, incoterms, and compliance requirements is a plus.
