Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Liferay Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our application. The role requires proficiency in various technologies and frameworks, particularly Liferay & Springboot.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Liferay, Springboot microservices, JDK 11/21.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Bring efficiencies/optimizations.

Must-Have Skills:

10+ years of experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Liferay 7.4, Spring boot microservices, JDK 11/21, Intelli J.
Experience with Liferay upgrades & migrations.
Knowledge of database design and management, particularly with SQL Server.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Kafka & Elastic
Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
Experience with deployment automation
DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Developer or similar role.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
