Senior / Lead AI Scientist - Full Time

Must Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science / ML
• 2+ years with Deep Learning (TensorFlow / PyTorch)
• Solid programming foundation (Python, C/C++)
• Strong background in Mathematics, Statistics, and ML theory

* You enjoy spending hours coding away on a terminal with or without using AI Copilot. You think-through the design of your system to avoid logical flaws and redundancies. You love brevity, but never trade readability for brevity. Git push is your habit, as natural as morning coffee.

* You carry a healthy obsession for testing, reproducibility and rigor in general. For developing any new feature / module, you habitually start by first writing the test-cases _before_ you start writing the algorithm module. You always fret about 'reproducibility' of your results and invest time in incorporating the necessary tools, mechanisms, and documentation to ensure the same.

* You fearlessly dissect papers and re-create results from scratch.

* You have a strong foundation in core ML and Statistical Inference concepts, and are experienced with guiding junior members of the team. You are familiar with the basics of Deep Learning and GenAI. You’re also eager to pick up new technologies such as Reinforcement Learning on the job.

* You can extract the insightful story from the data and communicate it to a broad range of technical as well as non-technical stakeholders within and outside the organization.

* You have, in the past, led a team of technologists along at least one challenging and complex Data Science, AI or Machine Learning development journey.

• Experience with hosting on cloud (Azure | AWS | GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and working with popular Big Data stack (S3, Kafka, Spark) is a plus.
• Experience with edge-AI platforms like Intel OpenVino, Nvidia Jetson Nano, Google Coral is a plus. 
• Experience with PLC programming using MODBUS is a plus
  

* Lead AI/ML delivery for at least one challenging R&D project from our customers. Once you prove your caliber, you will lead multiple such challenging projects.

* Own further refinement of a core technological asset of the company by leveraging Deep Learning, traditional Machine Learning and system architecture. 

* Remotely guide the field engineers deployed at customer sites to debug any issues and ensure that the Company’s AI / ML solutions keep smoothly running on the site. 

* As the owner, hold responsibility for all deliverables produced by your team. Conduct reviews, routine sync-ups, and put in place the adequate testing/feedback infrastructure to ensure that quality of the deliverable is never compromised.

* Learn and grow as a well-rounded AI / ML scientist by being exposed to a broad variety of data science problems, the highest level of rigor and experience with owning some of the most challenging AI / ML projects in the field.

* Interface with end customers, prospective clients, and other potential stake-holders as a technical expert regarding a product / solution.
