Senior Landscape Architect

As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for leading design development and project coordination across a variety of landscape projects. Your role will involve utilizing your strong conceptual design abilities, technical proficiency, and leadership skills to guide the design team from concept to execution. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and analyze site topography, climate, vegetation, drainage, and surrounding context to identify opportunities and constraints influencing design approach. - Develop an overarching design vision or concept narrative based on site analysis and client brief, capturing the desired mood, function, and identity of the space. - Explore forms, patterns, and spatial relationships through sketches and diagrams, integrating softscape, hardscape, and built elements harmoniously. - Lead 3D visualization, design development, and detailing of landscape projects. - Oversee preparation of presentations, design drawings, construction documentation, and BOQs. - Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. - Provide technical guidance to junior designers and ensure adherence to project timelines. - Participate in site reviews, design evaluations, and provide solutions during project execution. - Contribute to sustainable and context-sensitive design approaches. - Support the business development team in design presentations and project proposals. Required Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture from a recognized institution. - 8-10 years of professional experience in landscape design and project coordination. - Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of landscape typologies (residential, commercial, institutional, urban, etc.). - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp. - Excellent understanding of planting design, materials, and construction detailing. - Strong communication, leadership, and client interaction skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience working on medium scale to large-scale or high-end projects. - Knowledge of sustainable design principles and landscape standards. - Ability to mentor team members and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
