Senior Landscape Architect

As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will play a crucial role in leading design development and project coordination for a variety of landscape projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding the site's topography, climate, vegetation, drainage, and surrounding context to identify design opportunities and constraints. - Developing an overarching design vision or concept narrative based on site analysis and client brief, capturing the desired mood, function, and identity of the space. - Exploring forms, patterns, and spatial relationships through sketches and diagrams, integrating softscape, hardscape, and built elements harmoniously. - Leading 3D visualization, design development, and detailing of landscape projects. - Overseeing the preparation of presentations, design drawings, construction documentation, and BOQs. - Coordinating with clients, architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure design intent and quality standards are met. - Providing technical guidance to junior designers and ensuring adherence to project timelines. - Participating in site reviews, design evaluations, and providing solutions during project execution. - Contributing to sustainable and context-sensitive design approaches. - Supporting the business development team in design presentations and project proposals. Qualifications and Skills required for this role: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from a recognized institution. - 8-10 years of professional experience in landscape design and project coordination. - Strong portfolio showcasing various landscape typologies. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. - Excellent understanding of planting design, materials, and construction detailing. - Strong communication, leadership, and client interaction skills. Preferred Skills include: - Experience working on medium to large-scale or high-end projects. - Knowledge of sustainable design principles and landscape standards. - Ability to mentor team members and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
