Act as the escalation point for application-related incidents and problems.
Perform in-depth root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.
Monitor application health, performance, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools.
Coordinate with L1/L2 support teams to resolve ongoing production issues and ensure timely closure within SLAs.
Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation for operational excellence.
Analyze business and technical requirements to design and implement changes in Java-based applications.
Develop, test, and deploy bug fixes, performance optimizations, and minor enhancements in alignment with change management processes.
Collaborate with core development teams to push strategic changes into the main codebase.
6-9 years of experience in application support or development within enterprise environments.
Strong proficiency in Java
Solid understanding of SQL and database fundamentals
Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
Working knowledge of the ITIL frameworkespecially Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure in a production-critical environment.
Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
