Senior Java Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications.
  
• Implement microservices and RESTful APIs adhering to best practices.
  
• Utilize the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.) to build modular and maintainable services.
  
• Write unit and integration tests using tools such as JUnit and Mockito.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate applications with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  
• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  
• Follow agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  
• Apply software design patterns and engineering best practices to deliver high-quality code.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Java development.
  
• Extensive hands-on experience with the Spring Framework and related modules.
  
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and serverless design principles.
  
• Proficient in writing and maintaining unit/integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, or similar.
  
• Experience designing and implementing scalable RESTful APIs.
  
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions in CI/CD workflows.
  
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Comfortable working in Agile teams with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
