Description
As a Web Application Developer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of web applications. You will collaborate with configuration management and administration teams to provide accurate build and deployment instructions. Additionally, you will work with tertiary groups such as Security, Architecture, IT Operations, and QA to ensure quality design, delivery, and adherence to corporate standards. Your role will involve designing and developing web service APIs for applications that other dependent systems can consume. You will also provide support to audit processes and quality management systems as required and deliver new services based on the new architecture, supporting existing live and high loaded customer-facing systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement web applications - Collaborate with various teams for accurate build and deployment instructions - Work with tertiary groups to ensure quality design and adherence to standards - Develop web service APIs for inter-system communication - Support audit processes and quality management systems - Deliver new services based on the new architecture Qualifications Required: - "Can do" attitude, high energy, creativity, and organizational skills - Strong interpersonal, oral, written, and visual communication skills - Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams - 8+ years of web development experience, preferably using Java and Spring framework - Experience in developing and managing REST APIs - Proficiency in RDBMS like Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL - Expertise in web architecture, cross-platform integration, and building scalable applications - Strong experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot microservices, and web services - Understanding of design patterns, object-oriented programming, and agile development principles - Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ - Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Heroku, AWS, Azure - Extensive experience in Test-Driven Development and/or Behavior-Driven Development - Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Git, Bitbucket - Proficient with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies - Demonstrated teamwork skills with an analytical and statistical background This job opportunity is with hirist.tech.
