Job Title: Senior Java Developer – Backbase Platform Experience: 5 to 10 years Location: Remote or Chennai Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in integrating and customizing the Backbase platform. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in Java development and hands-on involvement in delivering digital banking or similar enterprise solutions using Backbase. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services integrated with the Backbase platform. Customize Backbase widgets and services to meet business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product owners. Work on the integration of backend APIs and third-party systems. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development standards. Ensure performance, security, scalability, and reliability of applications. Support deployment and troubleshooting in development, test, and production environments. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5 to 10 years of experience in Java development. Strong experience with Backbase platform – especially in backend service integration and customization. Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot frameworks. Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes). Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in banking or fintech domains. Familiarity with Backbase DBS (Digital Banking Services) and Backbase Identity. Exposure to frontend technologies such as Angular or React (optional). Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Show more Show less
