Senior Java /Angular Engineer

As an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst at our company, you will play an integral role in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities: - Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, and model development - Monitor and control all phases of development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation - Provide user and operational support on applications to business users - Analyze complex problems/issues using in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development - Recommend and develop security measures post implementation analysis - Consult with users/clients and recommend advanced programming solutions - Define operating standards and processes and serve as an advisor or coach to new analysts - Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgement - Act as SME to senior stakeholders and team members Qualifications: - 9+ years of experience in designing and building end-to-end applications using Microservices or Domain Driven Design architecture - Strong knowledge of Design patterns/techniques, SOA concepts, RESTful API design - Experience in multi-threaded application development using Java/J2EE, Spring boot, Hibernate, etc. - Working knowledge of RDBMS like Oracle and NoSQL like MongoDB - Hands-on Development experience using IDEs such as Eclipse/IntelliJ, SQL client, etc. - Working knowledge of Containerization using Docker/Kubernetes - Good understanding of tomcat, Linux, or UNIX operating systems - Experience with CI/CD, DevOps techniques, and standard SDLC and Agile processes - Handle application change management using tools like JIRA - Exposure to AI tools like Co-pilot is an added advantage - Experience in Angular/React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS is a plus Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level overview of the role.
