As a prospective candidate for the position, you should hold a mandatory education qualification of being a graduate in any discipline, with preference given to those with a background in Engineering, Maths, or Economics. Additionally, having an MBA/MMS/MS/PGDM in Finance, or being a Chartered Accountant or CFA would be considered as an additional preferred qualification. Possessing the certification of NISM Series XIX-C/D: Alternative Investment Fund Managers will be advantageous. In terms of relevant work experience, the ideal candidate for SIA should have 3 to 5 years of experience, for IA 2 to 3 years, and for an Analyst position, freshers are welcome. It is important to have work experience in areas such as Project/Credit Appraisal, Venture Capital, Private Equity, or Investment Banking. Experience as a founder of a start-up would be a valuable asset. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Startup ecosystems, Deeptech, Spacetech, IT, AI, Space technologies, and focused sectors like Defence, Drones, Climate, Impact, and Fintech. Your responsibilities in the role will encompass various aspects of Investment & Operation. This includes conducting comprehensive market research and analysis to identify industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies. You will be tasked with sourcing new investment opportunities, building a robust pipeline, and developing financial models for evaluating potential returns and risks. Collaboration with the team to measure key metrics for financial returns and conducting investment appraisals will be part of your role. Furthermore, your duties will involve supporting due diligence on potential investments, managing the portfolio of investee companies, reviewing financial statements, and preparing reports for internal and investor communication. You will also be responsible for preparing presentations, marketing materials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
