Senior Instrumentation Fitter

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Instrumentation Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the precise installation and maintenance of stainless steel (SS) tubing systems within our plant operations at Hyderabad.

Key responsibilities:

• Read and interpret P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), isometric drawings, and technical blueprints to understand the layout and specifications for SS tubing systems.
• Accurately measure, cut, bend, and install small-bore SS tubing for a variety of instrumentation hookups, ensuring compliance with all project specifications.
• Utilize specialized tools, including tube benders, cutters, and measuring instruments, to achieve precise fits and angles.
• Expertly perform orbital welding on SS tubing, ensuring high-quality, leak-proof, and contamination-free joints.
• Conduct pressure testing, leak testing, and visual inspections of completed tubing runs to verify integrity and quality.
• Troubleshoot and repair SS tubing and fittings as needed during maintenance and breakdown scenarios.
• Mount and connect a variety of instruments, such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, and gauges, to the SS tubing network.
• Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to company safety protocols and industry standards.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, instrument technicians, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.

Required skills and qualifications:

• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as an Instrumentation or Pipe Fitter, with a specific focus on SS tubing installation.
• Proven proficiency in working with SS tubing and using specialized bending and fitting tools.
• Strong knowledge of orbital welding procedures and techniques for SS applications.
• The ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• A solid understanding of instrumentation components and control systems.
• Experience with pressure testing and leak detection methods.
• Relevant ITI or Diploma certification in a related trade is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety.

Pay: ₹15,408.01 - ₹39,470.43 per month
