We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Senior HRIS Specialist to manage and mature our Workday environment. This role is critical to the evolution of our HR technology landscape and will focus on configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of HCM, LMS, and ATS modules for our global team of approximately 750 employees. This position is based in our Hyderabad office and will work closely with our U.S.-based People Operations (HR and Recruiting) and IT teams to deliver a system that supports a high-performing, data-driven, and employee-centric culture.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply deep expertise in Workday HCM, Learning, and Recruiting modules to recommend and implement enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience while safeguarding data accuracy and consistency.
• Reduce reliance on external Workday consulting by providing in-house configuration and optimization.
• Take a forward-thinking approach to developing solutions that address business needs, identifying opportunities, and anticipating how configuration or process changes affect business operations, other internal systems, and data integrity.
• Partner with HR Operations, Talent Operations and various functional stakeholders to gather requirements, providing solutions and improvements that preserve high data quality, enhance efficiency, and facilitate usability.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support decision-making across HR and business units ensuring accurate, actionable insights.
• Provide end-user training, clear documentation, and responsive support that reinforces correct data practices.
• Thoroughly document configuration changes, decisions, and processes to maintain stable, accurate environments.
• Communication system changes and data impacts proactively to relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Finance, Security, and other departments as needed.

MANDATORY SKILLS

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Workday with proven ability to configure and optimize systems while maintaining clean, reliable data.
• Solid understanding of Workday Core HCM, and familiarity with Recruiting and/or Learning modules.
• Strong familiarity with integrations, file feeds, business process configuration, and advanced reporting.
• Proficiency with Workday reporting, metrics and dashboard creation (PowerBi integration is a plus), with focus on accurate, trusted insights.
• Ability to independently manage a complex HRIS environment while maintaining collaborative decision-making to avoid unintended data or business disruptions.
• Strong documentation, communication, and change management skills, with emphasis on documenting processes to maintain high data quality and audit readiness.
• Proven ability to collaborate with across global time zones, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance, and employee lifecycle, preferably in a mid-sized, global environment.
• High attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
