Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior GTE Assessment & Visa Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring student visa applications comply with Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirements and meet the standards set by destination countries, particularly Australia. The candidate will also assist in training and guiding junior team members, streamlining processes, and ensuring compliance with up-to-date immigration policies. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough GTE assessments for Australia and other relevant countries based on SOPs, student profiles, and financial documentation. Guide students on the preparation of Statement of Purpose (SOP), personal documents, and financials to strengthen visa submissions. Stay updated on latest immigration and student visa policies from DIBP (Australia), IRCC (Canada), UKVI (UK), etc. Ensure high-quality and timely lodgment of student visa applications via Immi Account or relevant portals. Review and verify academic documents, COE, financial papers, and sponsor details before final submission. Act as a senior escalation point for complex or borderline GTE cases. Liaise with internal counsellors, admissions officers, and external stakeholders including universities and Study abroad agents. Mentor and supervise junior visa officers and interns, ensuring process adherence and quality control. Maintain accurate records of visa outcomes, GTE screening, and compliance documentation. Provide regular training updates and policy refreshers to internal teams. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree (minimum); master’s degree preferred. Minimum 4–7 years of experience in student visa processing and GTE assessments, preferably for Australia. In-depth knowledge of GTE criteria, visa subclasses, and immigration processes. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Good English communication skills are a must , both written and verbal—especially for guiding students on SOPs and documentation. Ability to handle high volumes while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
