Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai as a Senior Fundraising Officer. The individual will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with potential donors, managing fundraising campaigns, and securing contributions through planned giving, annual giving, and philanthropic initiatives. The role also involves donor stewardship, ensuring relationships are maintained and nurtured with funders through effective communication and engagement strategies. Additional responsibilities include reporting fundraising performance metrics and supporting the organization in achieving its philanthropic goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in Planned Giving and Philanthropy, with a strong ability to establish and maintain donor relationships.
• Knowledge and practice of Annual Giving and Fundraising, including planning and executing successful fundraising campaigns.
• Expertise in donor Stewardship and management to strengthen long-term engagement with contributors.
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and the ability to influence and inspire support.
• Demonstrated experience in the nonprofit sector or similar field is highly desirable.
• Relevant educational background, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline, is an asset.
