Job Description

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Mastercard Data Governance & Regulation team, you will be responsible for developing applications with scalability and global distribution in mind. You will work in a collaborative environment with an energetic and innovative team. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Hands-on experience with Java 11+, Spring Boot, SQL, RDBMS (Oracle and Postgres), NoSQL (Mongo, Cassandra) - Proficiency in Axon, Kafka, RabbitMQ - Introducing new technologies and recommending platforms/libraries - Implementing using Angular JS and React JS - Applying design principles such as DRY, Single Responsibility, SOLID - Building reusable frameworks - Driving improvements in the maintenance, operational, and runtime characteristics of the software - Providing feedback on peer design and code, including optimization and simplification recommendations - Solving difficult architecture and business problems with extensible solutions - Optimizing, simplifying, and de-bottlenecking solutions - Enhancing interfaces and integrations with related teams - Leading projects to improve engineering, test, and operations - Troubleshooting problems, defining root causes, and permanently correcting within applications and dependent systems - Developing and running microservices - Collaborating with other engineers and tech leads to deliver exceptional user experiences - Working within an Agile development methodology - Creating proof of concept applications - Maintaining code quality, organization, and automation - Ensuring adherence to established quality control practices and software development processes Key Technology Focus Areas: - Java, REST API, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Jenkins, Angular, React, Cassandra, Swagger, Git To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Ability to be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to function under pressure - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong relationship, collaborative, and organization skills - Quick learning and implementation of new technologies, frameworks, and tools - Support for multiple concurrent activities Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with new frameworks and technologies, assist with prototyping and proof-of-concepts, participate in code reviews, and ensure a high level of code quality from the team.
