Job Title:

Senior Full Stack Developer AstroJS / Next.js

A. What Youll Do

• Independently develop and maintain scalable web applications using AstroJS (or Next.js), React, Tailwind CSS, Prisma, and Nanostores.
• Design and build reusable, accessible, and high-performance UI components with shadcn UI and Tailwind CSS.
• Implement Optimistic UI Updates and Lazy Loading techniques to enhance responsiveness and user experience.
• Optimize React component rendering using Island Architecture for reduced client-side JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain robust APIs using Prisma ORM with Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring type-safe database operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both frontend and backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to best practices in UI/UX, performance, and maintainable code.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment processes using Git and Docker.
• Ensure proper client-side hydration and smooth integration of React components within AstroJS or Next.js pages.

B. What You Know

• Must have at least 8 years of experience in full-stack web development using modern frameworks such as React and AstroJS (Next.js experience is acceptable).
• Strong proficiency in Tailwind CSS and component-based UI development with shadcn UI.
• Hands-on experience with Prisma ORM and Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization and stored procedure development.
• Solid understanding of state management using Nanostores and implementing real-time updates with Optimistic UI techniques.
• Experience in building accessible, responsive, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Node.js for backend development.
• Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using AstroJS or Next.js.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.

C. Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
