Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst at NTT DATA, you will play a critical role in the Global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. Your responsibilities will include: - Extracting data from financial reports to conduct financial and statistical analysis, identifying discrepancies, and recommending appropriate solutions. - Driving and supporting system enhancements and testing in financial planning platforms such as Hyperion, SAP, and Power BI. - Developing reporting enhancements within different reporting platforms like Power BI and Hyperion. - Collaborating with other finance groups to collect budgeting and forecasting inputs, customer contract details, and actual cost activity. - Monitoring and reporting on key financial and operational metrics for targeted departments. - Developing business partner relationships with assigned operational leaders within targeted departments. - Identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improving business results. - Participating in user testing to deploy system enhancements across key financial planning platforms. - Collaborating with the Global FP&A team to support the transition to a global structure. - Conducting budget and expense analysis, reporting on variances, and assisting with cost reduction initiatives. - Reconciling and reviewing monthly account analysis for balance sheet accounts. - Ensuring budget and forecast variances are analyzed and recommendations are made to improve company performance. - Performing other duties and adhoc analytics as assigned. In addition, you will be expected to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Excellent attention to detail and high-quality work. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Effective planning and organizing abilities. - Deadline-driven with the ability to handle stressful situations. - Proactive approach with a solutions-oriented mindset. - Advanced analytical skills and the ability to provide actionable insights based on analysis. - Knowledge of international entities, foreign currency, and inter-company transactions. - Ability to work across different cultures and systems. - Strong understanding of complex financial and accounting terminology. Qualifications for this role include: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, business management, statistics, or a related field. - Relevant financial analysis certification(s) preferred. - Minimum 5-8 years of high-level Financial and Capital Planning/FP&A experience. - Advanced experience with accounting software. - Extensive experience within finance in a company with international operations. - Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP. This position is primarily remote with occasional onsite work in a shared environment. Flexible work hours and up to 10% travel may be required.
