Senior Finance Executive

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Brand Discount Management: Communicate with brands to ensure timely invoice submission, validation, and follow-up for clearing outstanding receivables.

• Reconciliation Preparation:
  Prepare and maintain accurate reconciliations of brand accounts; identify mismatches and follow up for timely resolution.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
  Support management with updated data, MIS, and actionable insights to close open financial items efficiently.
• Opportunity Cost Analysis:
  Understand and highlight the opportunity cost and potential business impact due to delays in collections or reconciliation.
• Excel Reporting:
  Build, maintain, and automate reports, dashboards, and trackers using advanced Excel features (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF statements).
• Business Knowledge:
  Apply understanding of operational structure to improve accuracy and relevance in financial processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
  
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in finance operations, preferably in e-commerce, FMCG, or retail sectors
  
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
  
• Working knowledge of GST and its application on invoices and reconciliations
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
