Senior Field Consultant

2. Education- Graduate or Postgraduate with good academics (Minimum 60% in 10th and12th)Academics Min 1st class throughout

3. Job Location: - Guwahati,Assam

4. Travel and Deployment- Yes

5. Language Proficiency: Good communication skills & Local Language, Hindi and English

6. Mandatory Laptop- Yes

7. Age- upto 30years only

8. Willingness to work, stay and travel in Assam

9. Context and understanding of Assams culture, geography, and political landscape will be a plus

10. This is a contractual role till April 2026 and extendable on a performance basis

Key Responsibilities

1. Qualitative Research & Fieldwork:

• Conducting extensive field visits, FGDs, IDIs and developing a detailed sub-assembly level understanding
• Providing real-time feedback on on-ground political developments, party activities, and local issues
• Identifying emerging political trends and potential escalations in the constituency
• Monitoring local media coverage to assess political narratives and stakeholder sentiments

2. Data Collection & Analytical Support:

• Sourcing past electoral results, caste equations, and voting trends in the constituency
• Assisting in data collection, manual data entry, and cleaning tasks to ensure accuracy

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination:

• Facilitating contact-building for Assembly In-Charges (AICs) and Zone In-Charges (ZICs)
• Helping in identifying key influencers, grassroots leaders, and community stakeholders
• Coordinating with local sources and field teams to ensure timely information flow

In addition to this, the candidate would also be required to :

1. Contribute ideas and strategies towards the roll-out of campaign initiatives

2. Possess the ability to project-manage campaign initiatives end-to-end

3. Undertake research and present findings towards formulating on-ground initiatives

4. Possess high-quality problem solving, analytical skills and the ability to propose practical solutions for issues

5. Have a strong bias for action and ability to deal with ambiguity
