Senior Executive - MIS

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and automate daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports using advanced Excel and other data tools.
• Manage, clean and consolidate large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, robustness and consistency.
• Analyse data trends to highlight business opportunities, flag risks and suggest corrective actions.
• Build, update and present dashboards, trackers and management presentations to support timely data-driven decisions.
• Investigate errors or inconsistencies through root cause analysis and strengthen controls and validation checks.
• Use advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, nested formulas, data validation, conditional formatting).
• Apply tools such as Text-to-Columns, Remove Duplicates and other data cleaning methods for efficient dataset management.
• Automate routine reporting using Macros or simple VBA scripts where feasible.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and design new report formats as business requirements evolve.
• Assist in database management, data migration and integration activities when required.
• Coordinate with IT/ERP teams to resolve data issues, streamline workflows and implement improvements.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance and HR to enhance processes and reporting standards and clearly communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
