Location: Medanta Gurugram, Sector -38 Working Days: 6 Days (Work from Office)Role Objective:To support the Diagnostics and Pharmacy vertical by driving financial integrity, loss prevention, compliance, and operational efficiency. The role includes monitoring cash, stock, and billing operations, conducting audits, analysing losses, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and statutory requirements.
1. Loss Prevention & Risk Management
Develop and implement loss prevention processes across pharmacy and diagnostic centres.Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in cash handling, billing, stock control, and inventory movement.Implement preventive controls to reduce shrinkage, pilferage, and operational losses.Support deployment of security and surveillance measures where required.2. Investigations & AnalyticsInvestigate reported incidents of cash variance, stock loss, theft, or non-compliance.Analyse data, store trends, variances, and patterns to highlight high-risk locations or processes.Coordinate with local authorities or law-enforcement agencies when needed.Conduct and document regular cash and stock audits across all sites.3. Financial Operations & ControlSupport monthly book closures through accurate validation of revenue, stock, and cash data.Monitor billing, discounts, credit notes, returns, and cash deposits to ensure adherence to SOPs.Validate pharmacy stock valuations, expiries, write-offs, and consumption patterns.Ensure timely reconciliation of cash, bank, POS, UPI, and credit transactions.4. Training & AwarenessConduct training sessions for store and lab staff on loss prevention, cash discipline, and stock handling.Promote awareness regarding internal control policies and fraud-prevention practices.Drive a culture of accountability and transparency among teams.5. Reporting & CompliancePrepare periodic MIS dashboards for losses, variances, shrinkage, audit findings, and preventive actions.Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, audit observations, and statutory guidelines relevant to diagnostics and pharmacy operations.Collaborate with Internal Audit, Operations, HR, and IT teams for timely closure of action points.
Experience
4 to 8 years of experience in finance, audits, financial controls, or loss prevention, preferably in:Healthcare (diagnostics/pharmacy)Retail, FMCG or multi-store operationsKey SkillsStrong analytical and investigation skillsProficiency in MS Excel, SAPUnderstanding of compliance, SOPs, and internal financial controlsStrong communication, stakeholder management, and report-writing abilities
