About the Role

experienced Senior Enterprise Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Administer and optimize
PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
databases.
Design and implement
high-availability and disaster recovery
solutions.
Lead
data migration, upgrades, and modernization
initiatives.
Develop and optimize
stored procedures, triggers, and functions
.
Ensure
database security, compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)
, and governance.
Collaborate with
DevOps and engineering teams
for scalability and automation.
Mentor junior DBAs and contribute to enterprise database strategy.

Skills & Qualifications

10+ years in
Database Administration
, with at least 5 years in
enterprise DBA roles
.
Deep knowledge of
SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
and
NoSQL (MongoDB)
.
Strong expertise in
query tuning, indexing, replication, clustering, and PITR
.
Hands-on experience with
backup/recovery, security, and monitoring tools
.
Familiarity with
cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL)
.
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
