Senior Engineer - Utility

Role & responsibilities

• Manage and maintain

  HT & LT electrical systems

  , including substations and distribution networks - operation & maintenance.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of

  VCB, ACB, and APFC

  panels to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of all electrical systems to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Read, interpret, and update electrical drawings, schematics, and control wiring diagrams.
• Monitor, operate, and maintain utility systems like Chillers, DG sets, Air compressors, HVAC, Building Management System (BMS), Pharmaceutical water systems, Boilers.
• Ensuring proper documentation, logbooks, and compliance records for all utility systems.
• Prepare BOQ and BOM of electrical items for new projects and spare requirements.
• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
• Provide engineering and technical support to achieve production targets.
• Attend breakdowns promptly and coordinate with cross-functional teams to restore operations.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, QMS, and safety standards in all engineering activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/ Btech Electrical
• 5 - 9 years of experience in Chemical/ Textile/ Pharmaceutical industry only
• Good knowledge in HVAC, BMS, pharma water systems will be an added advantage
