Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Engineer-TCW, located in Pune. The Senior Engineer-TCW will be responsible for overseeing Testing & commissioning of Rolling stock sub systems such as Brakes , Propulsion, Auxiliary , TCMS , HVAC , Doors , PA/PIS, VCC etc.

· Should preform Static tests, Mainline tests and Interface tests according to the approved test procedures.

· Perform the type tests of Rolling stock sub systems under the supervision of car builder.

· Perform Routine tests in all trains, except Type test train.

· Perform Routine dynamic tests in all trains, except Type test train.

· Depot coordination works like unloading of trains, Depot

· Internal train movements.

· Coordination for power block with Depot control centre/other stake holders etc. as directed by client.

· Responsibilities include Testing & Commissioning and Attending failures reported during the T&C activity.

· Shall prepare test reports and conduct witness in the presence of customer.

· Modifications/retro-fitments related to Train level which need to be carried out during the Testing & Commissioning activity.

· Perform all type of interface tests with Signaling , Traction supply and other vendors.

· Perform service trials and Test track runs to validate the performance of the system after the Testing or commissioning activity.

· Responsible for reworks as directed by car builder / Client during the Testing/handover to clear the comments/issues raised by customer/ customer representative.

· Daily, Weekly & Monthly meetings with customer on Testing progress and the issues.

· Send Periodic reports to reporting manager and HO.

Keep track of technical outstanding issues related to T&C activity and Coordinate for timely closure of outstanding issues with site and Design/QC Engineers.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical

Experience

6+ Years of experience (Have worked on Melco systems)
