Job Description

Role Overview: As a Project Manager in subsea pipeline projects, you will be responsible for supporting the management of projects from concept development to execution. This includes providing input to project plans, schedules, and budgets, as well as monitoring progress throughout the project lifecycle. You will interact with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and participate in risk assessments to develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Your role will also involve conducting feasibility studies and conceptual designs for subsea pipeline systems, considering factors such as seabed conditions, geotechnical data, flow assurance, and pipeline routing. You will perform detailed engineering calculations and collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of subsea pipelines with offshore infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Support the management of subsea pipeline projects from concept development to execution. - Provide input to project plans, schedules, and budgets. - Monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle. - Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution. - Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. - Conduct feasibility studies and conceptual designs for subsea pipeline systems. - Perform detailed engineering calculations. - Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of subsea pipelines with offshore infrastructure. - Implement quality control procedures and inspection plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. - Review engineering documents and provide input to audits and inspections. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise during construction, installation, and commissioning activities. - Optimize the performance and integrity of subsea pipeline systems. - Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members. - Coordinate with external contractors, consultants, and vendors as necessary. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. - Extensive experience (typically 3 to 13 years) in pipeline engineering, with a focus on offshore oil and gas projects. - Strong knowledge of subsea pipeline design codes, industry standards (e.g., API, ISO), and regulatory requirements. - Proficiency in pipeline design software and tools (e.g., Abaqus, AutoPIPE, OrcaFlex, Caesar II). - Sound understanding of subsea construction and installation techniques, including trenching, pipelay, and riser systems. - Familiarity with subsea inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) activities. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.,
