Key Responsibilities:

Perform testing and commissioning of HV/LV equipment including transformers, circuit breakers, protection relays, CTs, VTs, and switchgear.

Conduct functional checks and relay coordination studies.

Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning protocols as per project specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning phases.

Prepare and maintain detailed test reports and documentation.

Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and site teams for smooth execution.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Support project handover and client acceptance processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in testing & commissioning in T&D or power sector.

Familiarity with protection schemes, relay testing kits (e.g., Omicron, Megger), and SCADA integration.

Strong understanding of electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.

Good communication and team coordination skills.

Willingness to travel and work at project sites.

Preferred Certifications:

Electrical Safety Certification

Relay Testing / Protection System Training

Site Work Permit Systems (optional)
