Role Overview: As a member of the team at FIS, the worlds largest global provider dedicated to financial technology solutions, you will have the opportunity to contribute to executing security controls to safeguard company information and programs against potential threats. Your role will involve researching and recommending solutions to security breaches, maintaining security systems, and administering security policies to regulate system access. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and managing information security documentation, resolving security issues, and implementing security controls using software and vendor security systems. You will play a crucial part in identifying opportunities to enhance workflow and communicating the business impacts of these improvements to management. Key Responsibilities: - Execute security controls to prevent unauthorized access and protect company information - Research and recommend solutions to potential security breaches - Maintain security systems and administer security policies - Manage and utilize the company firewall and encryption methods effectively - Create and manage information security documentation as per company requirements - Respond to information security-related inquiries and resolve security issues promptly - Implement and administer information security controls using software and vendor security systems - Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and communicate business impacts to management - Interface with the user community to understand security needs and implement necessary procedures - Provide status reports on security matters and develop security risk analysis scenarios Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience - Knowledge of network technologies, security technologies, network design, and engineering - Proficiency in time management, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills - Ability to plan, report, establish goals and objectives, standards, priorities, and schedules - Basic to intermediate decision-making and problem-solving skills - Basic to intermediate verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences - Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and clients Additional Company Details: FIS offers a competitive salary and benefits package along with various career development tools, resources, and opportunities to help you enhance your technical skill set.
