The Geotechnical Engineer is responsible for planning and executing geotechnical investigations, analysing soil and rock conditions, and developing safe, cost-effective design solutions for infrastructure and building projects. This role involves interpreting site data, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and authorities to ensure compliance with local standards and successful project delivery
Education: Bachelor s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master s preferred).
Experience: 5 years of relevant geotechnical design experience in consultancy environment.
Proven track record in deep excavations, tunnelling, ERSS, pile design, and ground improvement.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLAXIS 2D/3D and other geotechnical analysis tools.
Familiarity with Eurocodes and Singapore standards (LTA, BCA).
Soft Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities; ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and interface confidently with stakeholders.
Additional: Knowledge of groundwater control, instrumentation, and construction supervision

BGV:

Undertake detailed geotechnical design for projects such as deep excavations, tunneling, foundations, and ground improvement works.
Develop design concepts, construction methodologies, and provide technical input during project execution.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities (e.g., LTA, BCA) for design approvals and submissions.
Prepare geotechnical reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
Supervise site investigations, instrumentation, and monitoring during construction phases.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards (SHEQ).
Support project teams in resolving technical challenges and maintaining high design quality.
