Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Supervise
electrical quality assurance activities
across RDSS project sites in designated districts.
Conduct inspection and quality checks of:
11kV line erection
Pole erection (PCC/RS poles)
Conductor stringing
DTC (Distribution Transformer Centre) installation
LT/HT line works
Ensure strict compliance with
MSEDCL specifications
, IS/IEC standards, and project technical guidelines.
Monitor quality of materials used at site including poles, insulators, conductors, cables, stay sets, earthing kits, etc.
Verify erection techniques, sagging methods, pole alignment, earthing, and clearances as per norms.
Prepare and maintain detailed
inspection reports, site quality checklists
, test records, and
NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
.
Coordinate with
EPC contractors, vendors, and field teams
to rectify quality issues.
Support audits conducted by
MSEDCL, REC, or third-party inspection agencies
.
Provide technical support to ensure safe and quality implementation of works as per
RDSS scope and timeline
.
Frequently travel to project sites across assigned districts to ensure 100% on-ground quality coverage.
