Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Engineer Design to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have between 8 and 13 years of experience in the field, responsible for designing and optimizing Gears, Gearboxes, Drives & Bearings while considering technical, scheduling, and financial aspects.

Roles and Responsibility

Design and optimize Gears, Gearboxes, Drives & Bearings, taking into account technical, scheduling, and financial aspects.
Manage PLM (BOM creation, lifecycle promotion) and ensure effective interdisciplinary cooperation with corresponding departments within the project environment.
Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis and collaborate with component suppliers to clarify technical properties and develop common components.
Contribute to FMEA and perform bearings calculations and selection.
Support local component development efforts to balance cost and quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Job Requirements

Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering or automotive manufacturing from a university or technical college.
More than 8 years of experience in a similar field, preferably in design and optimization of Gears, Gearboxes, Drives & Bearings.
Knowledge of various manufacturing processes and materials of gears is required.
Proficiency in PTC Creo, Windchill/Albatross, Kisssoft/Kisssys, and MS Office Tools is essential.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with multicultural global teams.
Strong understanding of autonomous, committed, flexible, organized, and integrity-driven work ethics.
Experience in creating passion for designing and developing innovative solutions.

Liebherr CMCtec India Private Limited in Pune (India) was established in 2008 and started its manufacturing plant in its own facility on Pune Solapur Highway in 2012. The company is responsible for the production of tower cranes and drives.
