Senior Electrical Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical site engineering projects with a focus on installing, testing, and commissioning various electrical equipment such as transformers, generators, bus ducts, and lighting for different voltage levels like 11 KV and 33 KV. Your role will involve site mobilization, managing safety and quality, coordinating site activities, and ensuring timely project handover. Key Responsibilities: - Manage safety protocols and ensure compliance throughout the project duration - Implement quality management practices by preparing ITP, QAP, PQAP, MSRA, and other required documentation - Supervise site activities including planning, coordination, execution, testing, and commissioning - Handle material management by tracking procurement and maintaining stock registers - Utilize your design engineering skills for basic electrical designs, power single line diagrams, layouts, and coordination with clients and consultants - Manage manpower by tracking productivity, generating reports, and handling subcontractors - Control project budget and timeline by monitoring costs, raising variations, and managing changes effectively - Maintain detailed records of project progress, meetings, constraints, invoices, planning, and procurement activities - Proficiency in Tamil and English is mandatory for effective communication Qualifications required: - Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Preferred) - Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience Please note that candidates with maintenance field experience should not apply for this position.
