Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and validate electrical hardware integrating complex mechanical and electronic systems across low-volume and mass-production products
• Lead, mentor, and guide cross-disciplinary teams (EE, ME, FW, ID) through research, brainstorming, prototyping, testing, and documentation
• Contribute to business development by identifying new technical opportunities and supporting client proposals
• Implement design improvements to enhance reliability, cost efficiency, and performance while maintaining compliance with standards
• Perform prototyping, debugging, and hardware analysis using advanced lab tools and techniques
• Execute schematic design and PCB layout using tools like Altium, KiCAD, and SPICE simulators
• Maintain thorough documentation, including design changes, validation results, and test protocols
• Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teamsselecting suppliers, managing CMs, developing functional tests, and supporting automated test system design
• Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally to collaborate with suppliers, partners, and manufacturing teams

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• 7-10 years of experience developing complex, integrated hardware products
• Expertise solving tough problems in at least three of the following:
• Analog Electronics
• High-Speed Digital Design
• Power Electronics
• Wireless Power Transfer
• RF Design
• Antenna Design
• Motor Control
• Instrumentation
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing processes and validation (FAI, PPAP)
• Strong understanding of reliability testing (HALT/HASS, ALT)
• Hands-on lab experience including micro-soldering (0201/QFN/BGA), oscilloscopes, SMUs, impedance analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc
• Experience across the full product lifecycleconcept to NPI and production release
• Experience working with overseas vendors (CMs, OEMs, JDMs)
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical ability, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to work hands-on

Preferred But Not Required

• Experience developing high-reliability consumer products with integrated sensors (ECG, PPG, SpO2, GSR, BIA)
• Test automation experience using Python, LabView, MATLAB, or similar
• Knowledge of regulatory testing for medical or consumer electronics
• Experience with Asia-based supply chain and high-volume hardware manufacturing
