Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with 8 to 13 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience working on projects involving building robust electrical power systems.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, prototype, test, assemble, and validate the spacecraft electrical power subsystem (EPS).
Perform analysis and trade studies on EPS subcomponents and procure them from vendors.
Design and realize PCBs for the EPS subsystem, which will fly to space and perform critical operations onboard our satellites.
Collaborate with other subsystems to generate software requirements and interface control documents.
Develop test plans and procedures, and create spacecraft and equipment operating procedures for safe, efficient, and reliable system operation.
Identify spacecraft harness requirements for reliable operations, considering wiring, cabling, and connector types based on current, voltages, EMI/EMC considerations, etc.

Job Requirements

Proficiency in PCB design and hands-on experience with electronics hardware.
Thorough understanding of concepts involved in designing power systems for electronics, including load requirements, losses, charge-discharge, converter efficiencies, and thermal management.
Strong knowledge of Analog Electronics and Power Electronics.
Experience in testing and debugging circuits, proficient in using test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, current monitors, loads, and multimeters.
Knowledge of ESD phenomena and best practices to prevent ESD.
Experience in designing high-reliability and fail-safe hardware is preferred.
Educational Qualification: BE/BTech or ME/MTech/MSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
