Position Title: Senior Educational Counsellor
Location: Pune, Maharashtra Key Responsibilities

• Parents/Student Counselling & Admissions
• Conduct career counselling sessions for students and parents (online/offline).
• Clearly explain program structure, curriculum, certifications, placements, and career outcomes.
• Converting high-intent leads into successful admissions.
• Outreach & Relationship Management
• Build relationships with colleges, coaching centers, and education fairs for lead generation.
• Work closely with corporates for career-pathway alignment.
• Strategic Sales & Conversions
• Achieve monthly/annual admission targets.
• Collaborate with marketing to refine student acquisition funnels.
• Mentoring & Team Contribution
• Provide feedback to curriculum & placement teams based on student queries.

Required Qualifications

• MBA (Marketing / HR / Education Management / Sales preferred).
• 5-10 years proven experience in student counselling/admissions at:
• EdTech firms (UpGrade, Great Learning, BYJUs, Simplilearn, etc.)
• Private universities (Amity, NMIMS, LPU, Symbiosis, etc.)
• Strong communication in English + Hindi & Regional language
• Consultative, empathetic, and target-driven mindset.

Expected Skills

• Excellent communication, presentation & persuasion skills.
• Ability to counsel parents as key decision-makers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
