Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and versatile VB.NET & .NET MVC Developer to join our team. The selected candidate will initially work on enhancing and maintaining an existing VB.NET Windows-based application and simultaneously participate in the migration and redevelopment of the application into a Web-based solution using .NET MVC.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in both legacy and modern .NET development environments.

Key Responsibility

• Maintain and implement required modifications in the existing VB.NET application for 3–4 months.
• Collaborate in planning and executing the conversion of the VB.NET application into a web-based application using ASP.NET MVC.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.
• Work with SQL Server to design or update queries, procedures, and database schema as required.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Required Skill

• Hands-on experience with VB.NET (Windows Forms/Web Forms).
• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, and C#.
• Understanding of Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL Server.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience working on application migration/conversion is a plus.
• Ability to analyze existing code and re-engineer into new technologies.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
