Senior Digital Product Owner (Power Platform Developer)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Digital Product Owner (Power Platform Developer) to join GFSO Reporting Tower -Global Finance Services Division. The Senior Reporting Analyst (Data Visualization - Power BI) will have the opportunity to develop and support the Power BI system solution functionality of one or more applications or business to support our Accountable Reporting transition to an Operations Center of Excellence. This role will partner with Strategy Execution Business Manager and Senior Staff Accountant to design and develop key data visualizations for Global Business Services (GBS). In addition to ensuring a successful reporting standardization and transition, the role offers opportunity to identify and lead onboarding future processes. This position will work closely with business units across the enterprise, our GBS organization and the Global Finance Strategy team to ensure alignment of processes for Caterpillar. What you will do Standardized Reporting Design Development in Power BI Provide team leadership and oversight to digital operations team Validate business requirements for an application or process Validate solution design, including prototyping and configuration for an application or process Validate process documentation for the application or process Participate in test script creation for new content releases or deployments for an application or process Review and approve test plans as required by new content releases or deployments for an application or process Review and approve end user training materials for an application or process Establish business rules for the use of an application or process Establish security data classifications for the application or process Business escalation point for any conflicts or concerns with the application or process Represent the application or process with other areas of the business who use or integrate with this part of the business Seek input from relevant areas of the business that should have inputs to this application or proce Understanding, evaluating and reacting to routine problems or situations with external contacts is also part of this assignment Interaction within the framework of existing business policies and practices and/or established business relationships Problems and issues usually involve careful interpretation, analysis or diagnosis Identify the nature of a complex or undefined problem and then develop the best solution or application from numerous alternatives Develop we'll-prepared action plans for the current year and has a clear sense of what needs to be achieved in the year to come. This position requires a high level of strategic analysis, problem solving, finance and accounting business acumen and governance background Prior FPA or reporting experience supporting cross-functional stakeholders, managing multiple and complex data sources with great attention to detail The incumbent must have experience working in a global environment and have a global mentality Expert in Power Bi (Visualisations Modelling), SQL, Power Query and knowledge of Excel, and PowerPoint Working under uncertain circumstances and global/diverse environment Top Candidate Will Also Have: bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps and Power Automate) Additional Details: 5-10% travel is expected Timing: EUR timing with need to provide US coverage as per business close requirements Work model: 5 days work from office Skills desired: Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
