Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality microservices using Kotlin. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements. - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization. - Implement robust cloud-based solutions, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability. - Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation practices. - Troubleshoot and debug complex application issues efficiently. - Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the company's technological edge. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of experience in developing microservices with Kotlin. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP. Proficiency in RESTful APIs and web services integration. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of secondary databases like MongoDB and Redis. Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development. - Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Java or Scala.
