Senior Developer Kotlin Microservices

As a Microservices Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality microservices using Kotlin. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization. Your role will involve implementing robust cloud-based solutions, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and optimizing applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability. You will be expected to maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation practices, troubleshoot and debug complex application issues efficiently, and stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the company's technological edge. The ideal candidate for this position should have 3-5 years of experience in developing microservices with Kotlin. A strong understanding and hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, is required. Proficiency in RESTful APIs and web services integration, familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and knowledge of secondary databases like MongoDB and Redis are essential. Excellent problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork abilities are necessary for success in this role. Preferred qualifications include experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development, and knowledge of additional programming languages such as Java or Scala.,
