Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development expertise, solid experience with cloud infrastructure, and the ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Work with databases to optimize queries and ensure data integrity
• Manage and deploy applications on cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems
• Ensure best practices in security, performance, and scalability

Required Technical Skills

Candidates must demonstrate excellence in the following technologies:

• PHP
• CodeShare (collaborative coding / code review tools)
• JSON queries and data handling
• AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• SQL
• Linux
• MongoDB
• GitHub

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
• Proven experience working on production-level applications
• Experience with system architecture and scalable solutions is a strong plus

Required Certifications

Candidates should hold one or more of the following (or equivalent):

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate (required or strongly preferred)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (preferred)
• Relevant database or cloud certifications are an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring junior developers
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
